What you'll learn
This course is designed to provide an understanding of role of microstructure in influencing the various properties of materials. Also to understand, how different processing routes can yield different phases and microstructures.
About the Instructor
Prof. B.S. Murty is currently the Director of IIT Hyderabad and Professor of Materials Science and Metallurgical Engineering, IIT Hyderabad. His broad areas of expertise include, nanocrystalline materials, metallurgical thermodynamics, kinetics, alloy design, physical metallurgy, etc.
